Traveling to Philadelphia

By AIRPLANE via Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

The Philadelphia International Airport is located approximately 10 miles away from center city Philadelphia. Transportation from airport to center city and University City takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes. There are various way to travel from the airport to where the conference venues are (University City).

By Train

Southeastern Pennsylvania transportation authority is the operator of Philadelphia bus, subway and regional train system. The airport line takes about 15 minutes from the airport terminals to 30th street station. The train runs through 5 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and weekends. And the fare is $6.75. By AIRPLANE via Newark international Airport (EWR)

If you are arriving through flights to New York at Newark airport there are Amtrak trains connect EWR and Philadelphia 30th train station. The schedule and price various depend on the date. Below is Amtrak’s website.

If you are arriving at other airports in New York City, there are buses and trains travels between New York and Philadelphia. Trains are also operated by Amtrak.

Public Transportations in Philadelphia

Philadelphia’s public transportation systems consists two subway line, trolley line, regional railway and buses. They are operated by SPETA and a signal pass costs $2.25 and there are also different passes for multi travels. Maps and station for each services are available in the link below.

Traveling to ICMP7 venues you can take Market-Frankford Line and get off at 34th or 30th street station. Or took trolley (# 11 13 34 36 ) to 30th or 33rd station.
